Hope Amidst the Silence

Rape of women is widespread. It occurs in homes, on streets and has and continues to be used as a weapon of war. It is an act which invades not only the body, but the very 'self' of a person and can have devastating consequences.

 

Rape is also that act which is surrounded by either silence or myths. The silence is equally found among the Christian community.

This site is for all victims of rape: Christian and non-Christian. For the former, I hope it will be a place to find encouragement. For the non believer, may it be a means through which you will come to understand that there is hope and peace available through the living Lord Jesus.
